DukDuk - product price monitoring

DukDuk is an app for tracking product prices in online stores. It helps you watch price changes and choose the right time to buy.

How the app works

The workflow is simple and transparent:

  • You manually add a link to a product page from an online store.
  • The app saves the link and current product price.
  • When you request an update, the price is refreshed and saved to history.
  • You can see how the price changes over time.
Price updates happen only on user action. The app does not run automatic updates without your request.

Only minimal required data is used from store pages:

  • product page URL;
  • product name;
  • price;
  • availability status;
  • product image (loaded directly from the store website).

Working with online stores

DukDuk does not integrate with online stores directly and does not act on their behalf. It only displays publicly available data from product pages you add yourself.

To reduce load on websites, the app uses delays between requests and limits simultaneous checks.

You decide which links to track and are responsible for following the usage rules of source websites.

Frequently asked questions

Are prices updated automatically?

No. Updates are performed only after your action: manually for a product or via list refresh.

Can I use the app offline?

Yes. You can view previously saved products and price history offline. Internet access is required only to fetch fresh data.

Why might a price fail to update?

This may happen if the product page is temporarily unavailable, the item is no longer sold, or the website changed its page structure.
